Learn with two experienced tutors at the beautiful Leeds Castle with photography tips and techniques, followed by an afternoon of editing your images in Photoshops camera RAW.



Join best selling photographer Doug Harman and Photographer and renowned Photoshop Artist Sue Chapman ARPS, CPAGB for their Leeds Castle photography and Photoshop RAW editing one-day workshop.

This one day workshop comprises the following:

  • 0930 Meet and welcome at the Oak room, Brabourne Lees with coffee and introductions
  • 1000 Depart on morning shoot with Doug and Sue (to Leeds Castle) to shoot some stunning street images.
  • 1230 Return to base
  • 1300 Lunch (provided)
  • 1345 Upload images to Photoshop and editing tuition (camera RAW only)
  • 1500 Refreshments
  • 1515 Continue editing in Photoshop (RAW)
  • 1600 Share best images of the day and Q&A
  • 1630 Summary and close
  • This one day workshop caters for beginners to intermediate.

Workshop Cost: £184 per person (£163 if booked early)

NB: Itinerary is subject to change based on weather and other eventualities outside Capture and Create’s control, but the core workshop content will remain the same

PLEASE NOTE: IF you already have a valid yearly entrance into Leeds Castle, £24 will be returned to you on the day of the workshop

What You Need to Bring…


  • Sturdy waterproof walking shoes or walking boots, gloves, hat and waterproof / windproof jacket.
  • September is normally a mild month of the year but on the coast winds can make you feel considerably cooler.

Camera gear and accessories

You will need a camera where you are able to control aperture, shutter speeds and ISO (sensitivity). It does not need to be an SLR however. Additionally…

  • A reasonable capacity memory card, such as 8GB – or higher – compatible with your camera.
  • If you have other lenses, then please feel free to bring them with you.
  • A tripod would be beneficial but not necessary. (NOT a table top tripod)
  • Your laptop with a minimum RAM of 4GB.  8GB or higher preferable.

Should you not have Lightroom pre-installed on your PC, we suggest you download a free 30 day trial directly from Adobe a few days before the start date which will be fully functional for the workshop and allow you to get a feel for the program.
